Council Dinner Honor 2008 Eagles and other Award Recipients |
All 2008 Eagles will be honored at the council dinner and such register to attend. There is no cost for 2008 Eagles. If you received your Eagle in a prior year and you did not attend the council dinner, please contact Mr. Toda to attend this year's dinner. The council dinner will be held Feb. 13 beginning at 6 PM at the Wyndham Hotel on First Street, San Jose. This is also a time to show your Eagle project to the community and you can do this by a slide show on your laptop, a display board or photo album. The council is also looking for donations to help subsidize the cost of the dinner for Eagle scouts.
The council dinner is also an awards dinner where we honor any scouts, scouters and volunteers. This includes any medals and awards for life-saving or heroic actions, Silver Beaver awards, and other council and regional honorees.

Housekeeping |
Some reminders:
1) The scout handbooks is considered a part of a scout's uniform until he attains First Class. Scout, Tenderfoot and 2nd Class scouts need to bring their handbook to every meeting and outing. This will assist to make sure that any requirements that are completed can be immediately signed-off.
2) Complete uniforms are scout shirt, scout pants, scout socks, scout belt, and scout neckerchief. An incomplete uniform will mean that your patrol will earn less points for honor patrol.
